Disgelo S.r.l. was founded in 2006 on the initiative of Davide Modica, together with Deborah Gorelli, with the aim of introducing innovative solutions and specialized skills in the field of refrigeration and environmental testing.
The growth path continues in 2008 with a first organizational structuring and the opening of a second operational office in Turin.
In 2013, with a view to strengthening proximity to the customer, the office is relocated to theEnvironment Park in Turin, accompanied by the expansion of the technical and design team.
In 2015 , the company moves to a first industrial shed in Leinì.
In 2017 , a key step takes place: The Thaw acquires the Ocras Zambelli brand and technical assets, taking over more than 10,000 historical projects and the related customer base. This operation guarantees industrial continuity, enhancement of know-how and technological development.
From this evolution comes DOT - Disgelo Ocras Technologies, the brand that today identifies all climatic chambers designed and produced in-house.
The gradual expansion of services and customer base leads in 2022 to the establishment of the current headquarters at Via A. Meucci 91, Leinì, a 1,500 m² covered facility, flanked by an additional 1,500 m² of outdoor space dedicated to logistics and parking, designed to efficiently support the company's operations and future growth.
Our team
Today, The Thaw employs a team of more than 35 highly qualifiedprofessionals with established expertise in the design, manufacture, sale, installation and technical support of environmental, scientific and industrial testing systems. The in-house organization makes it possible to operate as a single interlocutor, following the customer through all phases of the equipment life cycle: from the definition of technical specifications to operational management, to after-sales support and maintenance over time. Annual turnover is now between 4 and 5 million euros, confirming Il Disgelo as a solid and continuously growing company.
