Walk-in climatic chamber Series Drogon Modular

The DROGON Modular series is the walk-in configuration with coupled isothermal panels in the DOT range, designed for industrial applications that require installation flexibility and structural modularity.

The DROGON Modular is a walk-in climatic chamber made with isothermal panels coupled by means of eccentric hooks, designed to ensure:

  • high dimensional flexibility

  • rapidity of installation

  • possibility of expansion or relocation

  • excellent thermal and climatic performance

It is the ideal solution for rooms with limited access or for installations in existing buildings where it is not possible to introduce a welded monoblock module.


CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURE

Modular panels

  • Self-supporting structure with isothermal panels

  • Junction system with high-strength eccentric hooks

  • Available thicknesses: 120 mm - 160 mm

Materials

  • Outer cladding: pre-painted galvanized sheet metal RAL 9010

  • Inner cladding: stainless steel AISI 304

Thermal insulation

  • Self-extinguishing polyurethane foam

    • Density: 40/42 kg/m³

    • Thermal conductivity: 0.024 W/mK at +10 °C

    • Closed cells > 95%

    • Compressive strength > 200 kPa

    • Fire reaction class B3

Panels are joined with self-leveling PVC tongue-and-groove system, sealed to ensure:

  • thermal sealing

  • moisture protection

  • structural stability

Temperature range

  • Configurable minimum temperatures: -70 °C / -40 °C / -20 °C / +25 °C
  • Configurable maximum temperatures: +50 °C / +80 °C / +120 °C
  • (+120 °C with combined rock wool + polyurethane panel)

Uniformity and stability

  • Temperature uniformity: ±1 °C

  • Temperature fluctuation: ±0.2 °C

  • Relative humidity uniformity: ±3 % RH

  • Relative humidity fluctuation: ±1 % RH

Standard climatic range

  • +10 °C TO +80 °C

Dew point

  • Minimum: +4 °c

  • Extensible on request

THERMAL DYNAMICS

The rate of temperature change is sized according to the test standard, thermal load and chamber volume by dedicated configuration of the refrigeration unit and heating system.

  • Integrated thermo-hygrometric unit

  • Fans with inverter regulation

  • Air distribution optimized for volumetric uniformity

  • Possibility of integration:

    • enthalpy wheels

FLOORING

  • Structural reinforcement with 18 mm phenolic plywood

  • Footing made of 50/10 striped galvanized steel

  • Bottom finish of fiberglass

  • Load capacity up to 3,000 kg (wide-wheel trolleys)
